Our Work

The Kind of Builds We're Built For.

FCC is a new flag, but the team is already running the work. Project highlights and case studies post here as builds wrap. In the meantime, here's the kind of fiber construction we're staffed and equipped to deliver.

Build Profiles

What an FCC Engagement Looks Like.

Each profile below is a representative scope FCC is built to mobilize on. As real projects close out, full case studies replace these profiles with client-named details, miles placed, splices certified, and on-time-delivery metrics.

Long-Haul Aerial

Multi-State Aerial Backbone

Greenfield aerial fiber across 600+ miles of rural and suburban pole routes for a Tier-1 carrier program.

  • Scope: Strand placement, lashing, make-ready, pole transfers
  • Method: Aerial — bucket truck and digger-derrick fleet
  • Cable: 144F-432F single-mode armored
  • Geography: Multi-state, regional staging
  • Deliverable: GIS as-builts, OTDR-certified spans, joint-use closeout
Metro Overbuild

Underground FTTH Overbuild

Microtrench-led underground FTTH program through dense urban neighborhoods with high-volume drop conversion.

  • Scope: Microtrench placement, vault & handhole, drop activation
  • Method: Underground — microtrench + buried drops
  • Restoration: Asphalt, concrete, sod — closed in-sprint
  • Geography: Metro neighborhoods + MDU coverage
  • Deliverable: OSS-integrated turn-up, customer activation, conversion reports
FTTx / Last-Mile

High-Volume Drop Conversion Sprint

Customer activation and turn-up sprint at the close of a regional FTTH buildout — appointment-driven, OSS-reported.

  • Scope: Aerial & buried drops, NID/ONT install, customer turn-up
  • Method: Mixed aerial/buried with MDU coverage
  • Cadence: Daily volume reporting, exception escalation
  • Geography: Metro plus surrounding suburbs
  • Deliverable: Activation testing, OSS handoff, conversion-rate reporting
Emergency Restoration

Named-Storm Region-Wide Restoration

Mutual-aid mobilization for a Tier-1 carrier following a named storm event — multi-span aerial and underground restoration with FEMA-grade documentation.

  • Scope: Aerial & underground placement, fusion splicing, OTDR proof
  • Response: 24/7 dispatch, same-day mobilization across multi-state footprint
  • Documentation: FEMA & state-emergency cost-recovery package
  • Coordination: Mutual-aid partner network
  • Deliverable: Same-day return-to-service where physically possible, after-action report
OSP Engineering

Permit-Heavy Greenfield Route

Front-end engineering and permitting for a multi-jurisdiction long-haul route — municipal, DOT, and railroad permits, with GIS as-built deliverables.

  • Scope: OSP route design, joint-use, ROW, permits, locates
  • Jurisdictions: Multiple municipalities, state DOT, Class I rail
  • Output: Construction-ready engineering package + permit binder
  • Format: Carrier-OSS-ready GIS as-builts
  • Deliverable: Drop-in design package, ready to mobilize crews
Splicing & Testing

High-Count Long-Haul Splice Program

Trailer-based splice deployment for an extended long-haul backbone, with OTDR bidirectional certification on every span.

  • Scope: Single-fiber and ribbon fusion splicing, splice-case build
  • Counts: 432F-864F long-haul cable
  • Test: OTDR bidirectional, end-to-end loss budgets, link-loss reports
  • Conditions: All-weather trailer-based splicing
  • Deliverable: TIA-compliant test-result deliverables, OSS-ready handoff

Real Builds, Real Case Studies.

As FCC's first projects close out, this page transitions from build profiles into named case studies — with miles placed, splices certified, on-time-delivery metrics, and the documentation buyers can audit. Want to be one of the first? Start the conversation.
